I'm a Software Engineer. I love to apply expertise to create a product and learn the missing pieces along the way. I believe in constant learning, innovation, big picture understanding, and welcoming new technologies.
After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.S. in Computer Science, I landed a position as a software engineer at Nextworld. Here, I've had the opportunity to work among talented coworkers in building a no-code cloud solution for businesses to manage resources, streamline processes and optimize operations. Some highlights of my career at Nextworld have been building the new Nextworld Telemetry Service, Next Generation Notification System, Managing the Workflow Codebase and mentoring entry level Software Engineers.

Here is some of my projects I've coded in various programming languages
I enjoy working with new technologies and building side projects to further enhance my knowledge as a Software Engineer. Some new tools I've worked with lately are the Redux Toolkit, GraphQL, and Django.
After accepting an offer from Nextworld during my senior year at CU, I came to the realization that my start date was a couple months after graduation. With this in mind, I planned out a two month solo trip around Southeast Asia. This trip sparked my love for traveling and learning about new cultures.
In March of 2020 I found myself with more free time and was eager to pick up a new hobby. After learning the rules of chess and playing my first game, I quickly realized it was the most challenging game I had ever played. While I am still slowly improving, my passion for the game of chess continues to grow.
In the summer of 2022, I started training martial arts at an academy called Easton in Denver. I'm currently a 3 stripe white belt and enjoy training both Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.
While I was traveling in Asia, I became fascinated with the number of people I met who could speak English, despite it not being their native language. This experience motivated me to pursue learning a new language. As I had a trip to Peru planned in my future, I dedicated myself to extensively studying Spanish.
My love for video games began at the age of six when my parents gifted me Kingdom Hearts, sparking a lifelong passion for immersive gameplay and storytelling. I particularly enjoy exploring new worlds and adventures through games, with the Dark Souls franchise, Escape from Tarkov, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft being among my favorites.
